# Data Privacy

We attach great importance to the protection of your data. In order to fully inform you about the use of personal data, we ask you to take note of the following data protection information.

## Personal data

Personal data that you transmit electronically on this website, such as name, email address, address or other personal information, will only be used by us for the specified purpose, will be kept safe and will not be passed on to third parties without consent. The provider automatically collects and saves information on the web server such as the browser used, operating system, referring page, IP address, time of access, etc. This data cannot be assigned to a specific person without checking other data sources and we do not further evaluate this data as long as it is not illegal Use of our website.

## Cookies & Tracking

Without your consent this website sets no cookies and loads no third-party services. Without consent only the following strictly necessary data is stored in your browser (§ 165(3) Austrian TKG 2021):

- **Your cookie choice** (`localStorage`, key `consent`): whether you consented to Google Analytics, with a timestamp. We ask again after 12 months.
- **Your language choice** (cookie `lang`, 1 year): only if you switch the language yourself.
- **Offline cache** (service worker / Cache Storage): pages and files of this website, so they load faster and work offline.

You can give or withdraw your consent to Google Analytics at any time via **“Cookie settings”** at the bottom of every page. If your browser sends a _Global Privacy Control_ or _Do Not Track_ signal, we treat it as a rejection.

## Anonymous visitor statistics

Regardless of your consent, we count page views anonymously on the server (Amazon CloudFront). For each page view we only store: the page requested, the domain of the referring website (e.g. “google.com”) and whether a mobile device was used. We use **no IP addresses, no cookies, no browser identifiers** and no JavaScript; individual visitors can neither be identified nor recognised. The data is stored with Amazon Web Services (AWS CloudWatch) and deleted after 13 months. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in improving the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

## Google Analytics (only with consent)

If you consent, we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). Google Analytics sets the cookies `_ga` and `_ga_<ID>` (stored for up to 2 years) to recognise returning visits, and transmits information about your use of this website (e.g. pages viewed, time spent, device, browser, approximate location) to Google. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. Google signals and ad personalisation are disabled.

The data may also be transferred to Google LLC in the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; the transfer is based on the European Commission's adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR).

The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 165(3) Austrian TKG 2021). You can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future via “Cookie settings”; this deletes the Google Analytics cookies.
